Hydrogen production using PEM-MEA electrolysis

“Proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis technology” only tiny hydrogen molecules can pass through the proton exchange membrane, and the rest of the impurities will be effectively filtered.
Therefore, ultra-high purity medical grade hydrogen of more than 99.999% can be produced.

 PEM Proton Exchange Membrane Electrolysis Technology

UPH products use “proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis technology” that only tiny hydrogen protons can pass through the proton exchange membrane, and the rest of the impurities will be effectively filtered without any acidic or alkaline vapor, fine particles and harmful chemicals. Therefore, it can produce ultra-high purity hydrogen above 99.999% certified by SGS and of medical grade.

Large volume and small size lead the industry

UPH refers to the Japanese medical grade requirements and follows the human breathing rhythm to accurately calculate the most beneficial and safest hydrogen output of 600ml/min, ensuring that the hydrogen inhaled into the lungs can reach a concentration of more than 2%.

UPH’s patented technology reduces the volume and weight to 20% of traditional models, with a net weight of less than 4 kilograms and a size of about 10 liters. It is convenient, lightweight, and has a large capacity, suitable for home use by the whole family.

Meets US FDA standards

According to the standards of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), hydrogen with a purity of 99.995% is recognized as safe and edible hydrogen.

UPH uses the highest-level PEM technology to produce hydrogen with a purity of more than 99.999%, which meets the standards of the U.S. FDA. The higher the purity, the less impurities, and every breath of hydrogen is pure and clean.

Convenient design, easy to operate

Exclusive patented technology.
No need for pure water: The machine has a built-in micro-purification system. Adding water that meets drinking standards and has a TDS of <25mg/L can easily produce hydrogen, eliminating the trouble of adding pure water. (Applicable to commercially available packaged pure water, RO reverse osmosis or distilled water, etc.) 

Maintenance-free: Traditional electrolysis technology requires regular replacement of electrolytes and filters by a dedicated person. UPH uses the industry’s most advanced PEM technology. The electrodes do not require maintenance, and the filters can be replaced by yourself. It is simple, hassle-free, easy and economical.

Micro-nano bubbles

For water with a truly high hydrogen content, one cup a day is enough. The physical properties of hydrogen are extremely difficult to dissolve in water and are also very easy to diffuse. The “micro-nano bubble hydrogen dissolving technology” exclusively developed by Youhydrogen greatly increases the contact area between water and hydrogen bubbles, which can greatly extend the storage time of hydrogen water and slow down the escape rate of hydrogen in water. In just two minutes, hydrogen water with a hydrogen content of more than 1200ppb can be produced.

One cup of 400cc hydrogen water a day is enough to meet the minimum intake standard for the human body recommended by the International Hydrogen Standards Association. It is recommended to consume more than 0.5mg of hydrogen water every day.

Safety and environmental protection FDA certification

The material of the hydrogen water bottle of the UPH three-purpose hydrogen water machine has passed the US FDA safety, environmental protection, does not contain bisphenol A, and has the advantages of impact resistance and high temperature resistance. The purity is over 99.999% as tested by SGS

We cooperate with SGS, a global leader in inspection and verification. After strict testing standards of SGS Ultra-Trace Industrial Safety Laboratory, the test results of UPH products are: the purity of hydrogen is as high as 99.999% or more.

In 2014, the reply letter from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) revealed that hydrogen, as a safe food additive, must have a purity of 99.995%. Therefore, we firmly believe that only by providing the purest and safest hydrogen can the effect of hydrogen molecule health care be achieved.

The only one in Taiwan that combines hydrogen, oxygen and hydrogen water

Clinical studies have shown that the effects of hydrogen and hydrogen water are reflected in different parts of the body and can complement each other. Ordinary hydrogen machines can only absorb hydrogen, but cannot produce hydrogen water. Products that claim to be multifunctional often just directly introduce hydrogen tubes into water, not truly combining the two. The hydrogen content and shelf life of the produced water are also extremely limited.

The electrodes of ordinary hydrogen water cups are in direct contact with drinking water, and impurities and harmful substances will be gradually released due to corrosion and oxidation during the electrolysis process. The hydrogen water produced by YouHydrogen does not come into contact with the electrodes, but directly dissolves the hydrogen with a purity of more than 99.999% in the form of micro-nano bubbles with water, which is almost zero impurities and truly pure.
